Terms of service

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy or use HyperNotch, a Mac app made by Loopbreak (“we”, “us”). By buying, installing or using HyperNotch, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app, and ask for a refund within the first 7 days under our refund policy.

Your license

When you buy HyperNotch, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on up to 3 Macs that you own or control. It is a one-time purchase with free updates, and it doesn't expire. A license key is for you alone. Please don't share it or post it publicly.

You may not copy, resell, rent or redistribute HyperNotch, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or work around its license checks. Some parts of HyperNotch use open-source software, which stays under its own licenses.

Buying HyperNotch

The price is shown at checkout. Polar Software Inc. (“Polar”) is the merchant of record: it sells the license to you, takes payment, and collects and pays any sales tax or VAT. Polar's terms apply to the payment itself. Refunds are covered in our refund policy.

Requirements and updates

HyperNotch needs macOS 26 or later and is designed for Macs with a notch. We deliver updates through the app. We may add, change or remove features over time, and we'll try to keep the app working with new versions of macOS.

Your content

The content you create or collect with HyperNotch, such as clipboard history, notes and files, stays on your Mac, and you own it. You are responsible for backing it up. Clipboard history can contain sensitive information, so use its pause and exclusion settings where that matters to you. See the privacy policy for details.

Third-party data

Weather, stock prices and exchange rates come from third-party services. They are provided as is, may be delayed or inaccurate, and are for general information only. Nothing in HyperNotch is financial, investment or professional advice.

Acceptable use

Use HyperNotch lawfully. Don't use it to break the law, to infringe other people's rights, or to interfere with its license checks or update service.

Ending your license

You can stop using HyperNotch at any time by deleting it. We may revoke a license that was obtained by fraud, shared in breach of these terms, or paid for with a payment that was reversed. A license that is refunded stops working.

Warranties

We build HyperNotch with care, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits arising from your use of HyperNotch. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use HyperNotch means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Loopbreak is established, and its courts handle disputes, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to a different forum.
